Meet Dr. Fritz, your Chiropractor at United Wellness & Sports Rehab. Dr. Fritz obtained his doctorate from Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport, Iowa, where he honed his skills alongside Olympians in the school’s rehab department. Prioritizing the care of soft tissues and athletic injuries, his dedication to excellence led him to be selected for an 8-month rotation at the Central Iowa VA Hospital’s pain management clinic in Des Moines. Here, he provided relief to veterans suffering from complex conditions while assisting them in achieving their personal functional goals.

Before his chiropractic journey, Dr. Fritz pursued a bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology with a focus on exercise science at Iowa State University. During this time, he served as a personal trainer and strength and conditioning coordinator for the school’s hockey and judo clubs. Leveraging his athletic background and expertise gained at the VA, Dr. Fritz offers comprehensive care for a wide variety of conditions.

Dr. Fritz is board certified by the National Board of Chiropractic Examiners in chiropractic care and physiotherapy. He is licensed by the Virginia Board of Medicine and Maryland Department of Health, and holds certifications in Dry Needling and advanced soft tissue therapies. At United Wellness, Dr. Fritz employs a functional, evidence-based approach to treatment, utilizing techniques such as joint manipulation (adjustments), mobilization, Graston, Dry Needling, cupping, Flexion Distraction, and Diversified techniques to help you achieve your health goals and maintain your progress.

Beyond his professional endeavors, Dr. Fritz enjoys exploring the DMV area’s food and craft beer scene, spending time outdoors with his fiancé and dog, and passionately cheering for the Iowa State Cyclones.
