Thai Massage

60/90 min $95/135

Thai Massage helps to release blocks in the energy meridians in the body ("sen" lines) by way of direct pressure using thumbs, palms, elbows, and occasionally knees. Stretching techniques similar to Yoga are also employed. Thai massage is sometimes known as "lazy Yoga" because of these stretching techniques. In Thai massage, the client is clothed in comfortable attire and the massage is performed on a mat on the floor.

Swedish Relaxation

A full-body relaxation massage used to stimulate muscles and the nervous system. It helps reduce emotional and physical stress and is often recommended as part of stress management programs.

Deep Tissue

A therapeutic massage focusing on deeper aspects of the musculature and connective tissue. This type of massage works best when it is site specific so as to increase rehabilitation effects. It is most often used in conjunction with other massage techniques.

Massage Cupping

An ancient technique now modified to drain excess fluids and toxins, loosen adhesions, break up scar tissue, lift connective tissue, and bring blood flow to stagnant muscles and skin. A range of pressure can be used to assist with lymphatic drainage and/or allow for deep tissue release. When used as a treatment series results increase over time. But even in a single treatment, a long-term physical issue may be resolved!

Neuromuscular Therapy

This method uses static pressure to manipulate the body's soft tissues (musculature, tendons, and connective tissue) to locate and release spasms in tight and tense tissue. It can balance the nervous system and rid the body of trigger points that cause referred pain.

Craniosacral Therapy

This therapy involves assessing and addressing the movement of cerebral spinal fluid (CSF), which can be restricted by trauma to the body from falls, accidents, and general nervous tension. By gently working with the spine, the skull, its cranial sutures, and fascia, the restrictions of nerve passages are eased, the movement of CSF through the spinal cord is optimized, and misaligned bones may be restored to their proper position. This therapy is particularly useful for mental stress, neck and back pain, migraines, TMJ syndrome, and chronic pain conditions such as fibromyalgia.

Trigger-Point Therapy

A non-evasive therapeutic technique used to relieve myofascial (connective tissue) pain and dysfunction. The treatment consists of trigger-point compression, passive stretching, and a set of corrective exercises using Pilates and/or yoga.

Sports Massage

For every athlete, whether professional or an avid sports player, this firm- to deep-pressure massage helps maintain the condition of the body while preventing injury and loss of mobility from repetitive motion. By restoring mobility to overactive muscles or injured tissue, this massage may extend the overall life of your sports career.

Myofascial Release

This powerful application of sustained pressure and movement on connective tissue releases emotional and physical restrictions in the body. It can relieve joint pain, decrease inflammation, and increase the body's muscular flexibility.

Aromatherapy

This ancient treatment involves applying essential oils derived from living plants, each of which has unique characteristics and benefits. It can address countless emotional and physical issues and aid in a client's healing process.
